Cheese Ravioli Pomodoro Print Email

Great with Tony's Home Style Cheese, or Spinach and Cheese Ravioli.

In sauce pan, cover bottom of pan with olive oil, add minced garlic and diced onion. Cook until onion is clear - not browned.

To this add one can of crushed Italian San Marzano tomoatoes and season with sea salt and pepper, fresh herbs, and pinches of crushed red pepper to taste (or a simple marinara sauce). Bring all ingredients to full light boil and reduce to a simmer.

Cook Ravioli for 10 -12 minutes until al dente, drain and place in large serving dish. Pour cooked Italian red sauce over ravioli, garnish with chopped fresh basil, and serve with a crusty French bread brushed with crushed garlic and warm butter.
