1 pound Imported Italian Tube pasta such as penne rigate, rigatoni, etc
2 lbs Tony's Italian sausage and / or Tony's prepared meatballs
onion slices (optional)
1 jar Tony's Marinara Sauce, or more to taste
extra virgin olive oil
Tony's Italian breadcrumbs
dry Italian herbs, pepper
Parmigiano Reggiano, grated

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Boil pasta according to package directions.

Saute Italian sausage and onion slices in olive oil until sausage is 3/4 way done, drain. Add tomato sauce and bring to a simmer. Add meatballs and warm through. Cut sausages into two-bite pieces

Cook pasta al dente, firm, but not hard, and transfer to sauce. Toss, adding splashes of pasta water as needed if dry. Transfer to an oiled casserole pan.

Blend 1 part of breadcrumbs to 1 part grated Parmigiano Reggiano, and season with herbs and pepper to taste, then toss as you slowly drizzle-in olive oil, making a slightly moist crumb. Sprinkle crumbs over pasta and place in the top of preheated oven - cooking until it's browned and bubbling.
