|The World’s Simplest Bison Roast
3 lb. boneless bison chuck roast (frozen)
carrots, potatoes, onions, celery
1 pkg Lipton Dry Soup Mix, or salt, pepper, and garlic to taste
Place frozen roast in crock-pot surrounded by plenty of vegetables. Dissolve seasonings in 1-cup warm water and pour over roast, adding water, wine or stock to almost cover roast.
Cook on low setting for 8–12 hours or until bison is fork-tender. Slice and serve with drippings, au jus style, or with gravy made from drippings. Leftovers make great French dip!
