Flamed Kasseri Cheese Print Email

1 inch thick slice Kasseri cheese
2 eggs, beaten
Juice of 1 lemon
Breadcrumbs, to coat
Brandy, to flame

Mix the beaten eggs and half the juice of the lemon, dip the cheese into the beaten mixture, then coat the cheese with the bread crumbs. Refrigerate at least 1 hour. Saute 2-3 minutes on each side. Pour the brandy over the cheese and flame it, then pour the rest of the lemon juice over the cheese.
