Beefsteak and Bowties Print Email


1/2 cup water
2 ounce button mushrooms (sliced)
4 ounce farfalle Bowtie pasta
4 ounce bell peppers Yellow squash/yellow (sliced)
1 teaspoon pepper to taste
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1 teaspoon sugar
2 teaspoon parsley Chopped (optional)
1 shallot (sliced)
10 ounce beef sirloin steak 2 pieces
2 tablespoon Premium Oyster Flavored Sauce
3 teaspoon Premium Soy Sauce
1 teaspoon Minced Garlic

1. Mix beef steak with marinade (2 tsp Soy Sauce, pepper to taste).
2. Cook bowties in boiling water according to packet instructions or until tender. Drain. Stir-fry bowties with butter. Keep warm.
3. Pan-fry beef steak in 2 TBS oil until desired doneness. Put on top of bowties.
4. Saute shallot in 1 TBS oil until fragrant. Add yellow squash, mushrooms and stir-fry for 1 minute. Stir in sauce mix and heat through. Pour over beef steak. Sprinkle with chopped parsley. Serves 2
