Parmesan Pastry Caps Print Email

Puff Pastry sheets
Butter or garlic butter, very soft
Grated Parmigiano Reggiano

Preheat oven to 400 degrees – adjust oven rack to top oven, but at least 4 inches from the top to allow the pastry room to rise.

Cut pastry sheets into squares or shapes and transfer to a parchment lined sheet pan. Brush with butter and sprinkle with Parmigiano Reggiano. Bake in a hot oven, turning as needed, until puffed and brown, about 10 minutes. Serve as a decorative cap with meats. – chef mick
