Grapefruit and Avocado Salad With Rose Dressing Print Email

1 large pink grapefruit
2 firm-ripe avocados
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
2 tablespoons rose water, or to taste, available at Tony’s
fine sea salt, to taste
Freshly ground white pepper to taste
Edible rose petals or flowers for garnish, if desired

Over a bowl to catch the juice, remove the peel, including pith, of the grapefruit, and cut it into sections. Arrange the grapefruit on 4 serving plates.

Peel the avocados and cut them into thick slices. Arrange on plates with grapefruit.

In a bowl, combine the grapefruit juice with the limejuice, rose water, and salt.

Season each salad with the white pepper and spoon on the dressing. Decorate with rose petals before serving. Serves: 4
