Meat Loaf Au Gratin Print Email

2 pounds ground beef
1 egg
1 cup cheddar cheese
1 small onion, chopped
3 slices soft white bread
1 TBS Worcestershire Sauce
1 TBS mustard
1 tsp fres ground black pepper
1 can tomato sauce

Mix ground beef with 3/4 cup cheese, egg, bread crumbs, onion and seasonings. Shape into a meatloaf roast in a 325 degree oven for 45-55 minutes. Remove from oven and pour off drippings. Pour tomato sauce over loaf, sprinkle top with remaining cheese and cook an additional 10-20 minutes.
