Sauteed Carrots & Almonds Print Email


2 1/2 TBS Margarine
2 pounds Carrots, sliced
1/4 cup Apple juice
1 TBS Lemon juice
2 TBS Chives
1/2 cup sliced Almonds
Salt

Heat margarine in a large skillet. Add carrots & sautˇ over moderate heat, stirring frequently, until tender-crisp & beginning to turn golden, about 10 to 15 minutes. Add apple juice & sautˇ, stirring until it is all absorbed. Stir in the remaining ingredients, then transfer to a serving container.
