Asian Pear, Candied Walnut and Blue Cheese Salad Print Email

2 ounces spring greens
2 ounces candied walnuts
1 Asian pear, sliced
1 ounce blue cheese, crumbled
3/4 ounce red bell pepper or yellow bell pepper, Julienne

2 tablespoons fresh orange juice
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon minced shallot
2 teaspoons white-wine vinegar
Coarse salt and ground pepper
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

Combine ingredients for salad. Whisk together dressing ingredients and toss to taste with salad. Also great with your favorite citrus dressing.
