Peach Sorbet Prosecco Float Print Email


5 ripe peaches, peeled and pitted
juice of one lemon
¾ cup sugar - to taste
¼ tsp salt
1 ripe peach, peeled, pitted and chopped
½ tsp almond extract

In a blender of food processor, puree the five peaches with lemon juice, sugar and salt until well blended.

Stir in chopped peach and almond extract. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours. Transfer to an ice cream freezer and freeze according to manufacturers directions/

Serve in wine glasses with Prosecco. Makes 4-6 servings. Adapted from Tastes of Italia
