Watermelon Prosecco Sorbetto Print Email

2 cups chopped watermelon
½ cup water
½ cup Prosecco
½ cup sugar

In a blender, puree melon until smooth. Warm water over medium heat, add sugar and cook 3-4 minutes. Remove, add to melon along with Prosecco. Mix well and refrigerate for 2 hours. Freeze in ice cream freezer. Also great with other melons. Adapted from Tastes of Italia
