Whole Grain Spicy Chile Nachos Print Email


1 Tony’s Pueblo Chile Patty
½ can black or red beans, drained
½ jar Tony’s Green Chile Sauce (to taste)
1 bag Plocky’s Whole Grain Chips
½ cup chopped onion (preferably Musso’s Sweet Vidalia)
½ cup chopped bell pepper
1-2 jalapenos, seeded and chopped (optional)
1-2 cups grated Rockin’ W Jalapeno or Chipotle Jack

Preheat oven to 375°.

Chop and cook patty in a skillet*. Add black beans and green chile sauce and simmer to thicken, smashing some of the beans as they cook.

Scatter the chips on a cookie sheet or jellyroll pan and sprinkle tablespoons of chile mixture over the top. Sprinkle with onion, bell pepper, jalapenos (if using) and grated cheese. Roast in the top of a preheated oven to melt cheese and heat through.
