Swedish Glogg Print Email

1 gallon red wine (preferably Port)
1 liter bourbon
1 can beer
Combine in a large pot and heat slowly, stirring with a wooden spoon.

In a small saucepan simmer for 15 minutes:
1/4 of one orange peel, dried
4 whole cardamom pods
4 sticks cinnamon
6 whole cloves
1 cup raisins
3 cups brown sugar
1 cup red wine

Once spices have simmered for 15 minutes, transfer to large pot, stir and serve.
