Halibut Salad Print Email

1 LB halibut steak
1/2 cup mayo / Miracle Whip
3/4 cup finely chopped celery
1-2 chopped scallions
3 sprigs chopped fresh dill
salt and pepper to taste
Mixed greens
1 cup cooked pasta

Lightly coat a skillet with olive oil and heat over med-high heat. Sear 3/4 inch halibut steak until browned, 3-5 minutes. Set aside to cool.

In a medium bowl, mix together mayonnaise, celery, scallions and dill. Flake cooled fish into large pieces and gently fold into mayo, taste and adjust seasoning. Arrange pasta and greens on a plate, topping with halibut mixture. Serve with a loaf of rustic bread.
