Mushroom Dressing Print Email


4 cups fresh crimini or white mushrooms, coarsely chopped
12 Tbsp. butter, melted
8 cups fine, dry breadcrumbs
1 1/2 Tbsp. chopped fresh chives
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. celery salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cayenne

Saute the mushrooms in butter until just starting to soften, approximately 6 minutes. Mix together remaining ingredients. Turn the mushrooms and butter into the dry ingredients, toss lightly to mix. Makes 12 cups.
