Tony's Charitable Mission
The Franciscan Friends of the Poor (FFP) tirelessly help the poor and homeless, and most importantly, do it with dignity and respect. Their doors are open to anyone who knocks - helping with food, clothing, haircuts, showers, laundry, counseling, telephone, transportation, and even cash. |

FFP is Tony's adopted charity. We are their primary protein provider, donating over 200 pounds of meat each and every week. When this quantity exceeds their needs, they share the meats with eight other outreach programs, i.e. The Food Bank of the Rockies and The Mullen Home, who reciprocate with the FFP. Together these groups serve the area's less fortunate. |
A New Building!
Located at 707 Lipan, The Franciscan Friends of the Poor open their doors and hearts to anyone needing a hand. They let them use their shower, wash their clothes for them, and even take in the sick when they have nowhere else to go.

Preparing nearly 100 meals a day in their small home kitchen, the FFP has been feeding their guests in a tent set up in their backyard. Now the tent is gone and a new building is under construction - and all the work is being done for free by local business's, with monetary help from contributors. The new building will have a commercial kitchen and a dining area downstairs, as well as several new showers, and small bedrooms for the Brother's. |
Delivering 5200 Loaves of Bread
The FFP also reaches out to struggling families in the area delivering 1,000 loaves of bread each week - helping families in the neighborhood. This gives them a great chance to expand their work to families and children - and work to help break the cycle of poverty. |

Each Saturday a group of individuals is needed to provide a meal and serve the poor. This is a great opportunity for your family or group to contribute! Call Terry Thoeming at 303-722-8008 to schedule your Saturday.
