plains produce the world’s best Beef, our mountains
produces the world’s best Lamb and our region also
produces the world’s best Bison; making Colorado
a virtual heaven for the red meat lover! This weekend
I’m focusing on Bison, a particularly healthy red
meat with a flavor and tenderness comparable to beef. It
also has less calories, fat and cholesterol and iron
than beef, pork, chicken or sockeye salmon! Go
Wild Over Bison!
Bison is America’s healthiest meat. It’s packed with nutrition, has
lower overall fats and more Omega 3 fatty acids and CLA (conjugated nucleic acid),
which help in weight control and fighting cancers, among other benefits.
High in protein and iron and very low in fat, calories and cholesterol, bison
is recommended by doctors for heart patients and those with high blood pressure.
Bison is also a great choice for low carbohydrate diets.
If you love beef, you’ll Go Wild over
